The Sage Hill School Math Field Day is completely student-organized through the Sage Hill School Mathematics Department for middle school students in the Orange County and beyond.
Our tournament offers six competitions:
Algebra
Engineering
Measurement
Data Analysis and Probability
Reasoning and Proof
Mental Math
There will be awards for the top performing teams for each grade in each of the six categories in addition to an overall team winner.
Team Information
Schools may send a chaperone or coach and teams of four seventh graders and/or four eighth graders. There is no limit to the number of teams a school can bring.
The day will run from 8 AM to around 2 PM – visit the Schedule page for the detailed times for each round. Awards will be given at the end of the day. The registration fee includes lunch for all students and chaperones. We will have lunchtime entertainment, games, and a raffle drawing.
